             At the end of 1994, the deep desire came    to us to start building snowboards...how crazy could i have been.

Why?

We were riders for about 3 years and we felt that all the boards out there were all alike. They were standard looking, heavy, difficult, and we wanted to board a snowboard that was simpel, fun and my own.

 A snowboard that would carry our own designs, a snowboard that was build for us, that was easy to handle, fast and very stable, "on top of all that" it would provide us

At Geronimo, the ultimate goal is to create boards for people who believe that the experience is more important than the destination.

Every snowboard is built, created and developed by us. Snowboarders only.

 

We do not believe in ordering some boards in a big factory, screening our name and designs on it, and call it a snowboard. Allthough it would be easier, less headache and more money.  But, snowboarding is more then this. It has to be different, don't you think so ?  Something that is more then a piece of wood, wrapped with fiberglass and a design screened on top. It has to become "one" with you.  Something you feel good with.

So, a lot of effort, screaming and sleepless nights went into making special presses, developing a laminating system, building molds and construction methods which was needed to be able to make that "first" snowboard.

 

RESULT

Just seeing your satisfaction when boarding a Geronimo, inspires us to continue our own path of remaining your "individual snowboard company".  

Not following where the path may lead, going instead where there is no path, and leave a trail…but don't eat the yellow snow !!!
